Sometimes when you travel for business as well as pleasure, suddenly the tour gets interrupted due to over exertion of body and mind. So the next time you travel, take your yoga to go with you using these portable tips. The routine will take only 20 to 40 minutes spending about three to 10 minutes on each pose, either in the morning or right before bed. Whether you are dealing with a stiff neck, general lethargy or lower back tension caused by vigorous traveling, you will find that these poses  help you  relaxing physically and mentally to get back on your feet and ready to enjoy your trip. #1Slow Motion Dive :- Sit in a chair with your knees wide. Align your heels under your knees and point your toes slightly inward. Slide your buttocks back into the chair, lean your elbows on your knees, and let your head hang forward. Breathe deeply and feel your neck lengthen as you relax into the pose. You can drop farther forward and place your hands on or close to the floor, if comfortable. To come out of the pose, use your elbows or hands to gradually push yourself up, with your head rising last. *Benefits: Releases tension in the tailbone and relaxes the shoulders and neck. #2 Crooked Knee Pose:- Sit in a chair with your legs together and in front of you. Slide feet slightly forward. Place your left ankle on your right thigh, with the groove of that ankle on your thighbone, and slide the ankle towards your hip. Tip your head forward, softening the back of your neck. If you feel any discomfort, stay at this stage. If not, then lift your front ribs upward slightly as you inhale, then tip your torso forward as you exhale. Dangle your arms alongside your legs or place your hands or forearms on your right knee. To come out of the pose, use your hands as you did in slow motion dive, raising your head last. Lower your raised leg to the floor, rest and breathe deeply, then do the other side. Benefits: Relieves tension in the back and neck; soothes sciatica. Also quiets the mind and releases pressure in the pelvic and abdominal organs, aiding digestion. #3 Lunge:-   Place your hands and knees on the floor, keeping your back level. Move your right foot into the space between your hands. Move your right ribs toward the bent leg, lengthening and aligning your spine parallel to the inner edge of your thigh. Hang your head forward and tuck your chin in. If you feel discomfort, go into a lesser angle.   Breathe easily in this pose for 30 seconds to three minutes, longer if you have the time. Then push on the floor with your hands, slowly backing out of the pose to prevent gripping in the back muscles. Do the other side. *Benefits: Helps sciatica, and back and neck pain. Relieves anxiety and related tensions, creating a state of greater mental clarity. #4 Rotated Stomach Pose :- Lie on your back and hug both knees against your chest, with your hands or forearms around your shins. Then extend your arms down to the floor and out to your sides so that they form a 45 degree angle to your body. Roll your bent legs and your hips to the left, laying your legs on the floor. Slowly rotate your head to the left, pausing to breathe 1 to 2 minutes, then turn your head to the right. Breathe for another 1 to 2 minutes, then bring your knees to center and do the other side. *Benefits: Soothes the nervous system; helps relieve headaches, tension in the spine and neck, indigestion, insomnia, lower back pain, and sciatica. Massages the internal organs, stimulating the metabolism and improving digestion. An excellent preparatory pose for meditation.

But then there are the business-minded folks, who have found a way to use blogs, or weblogs, to bring in a little extra cash too. 1. Share Your Knowledge Training of mind is call knowledge  The power of a blog to educate, inspire, and bring like-minded people together makes blogging a great way to help people.   2.Start a New Business If you're looking to start a business blog or get more investment for one you've already started, the reasons above are a great place to start arguing your case.   3.  It helps drive traffic to your website. You could pay for traffic by placing paid search ads, which isn't illegal, but still quite expensive. And the second you run out of money, your traffic stops coming, too.   4. It helps convert that traffic into leads. Now that you have traffic coming to your website through your blog, you have an opportunity to convert that traffic into leads. add a lead-generating call-to-action to every blog post. 5. Grow your email database—Your blog should inspire people to opt into your email newsletter list. Also, your email feeds traffic to your blog. 6. Get More Clients to Your Existing Business Static websites don’t attract many new clients or customers. But a regularly updated blog can produce a constant stream of good leads from all around the world. 7. Get Immediate Feedback bloggers get to read their readers’ comments the same day they click ‘publish’This makes blogging a great way to get feedback on an idea that you want to develop further. Your Online Identity Starting a blog that covers all the bases is a great way to control your online identity and make sure that the top result on Google makes a the right first impression. 12.Make Money from Your Blog  help turn your blog into a moneymaker.   12 A Sell advertising. One way to stream some revenue is to put contextual, text, and impression ads on your site. The Web sites here pay you to display ads: This is likely the most common means of leveraging a blog to generate income. If yours happens to become a well-known blog,  it's always possible to sell ad space on your own. such as Google's AdSense or BlogAds, bloggers can establish ad programs. AdSense—which lets you select several ads that are consistent with the content of your blog—pays you based on how many readers click on the ads for further information.   12B sell others' products. Affiliate programs enable your blog to serve as a conduit between readers and online sites offering various goods and services. One popular choice is Amazon.com. If, for instance, you offer book reviews or even just mention a book in passing in your blog, an affiliate program provides a means for your readers to click directly from your blog to Amazon to obtain further information about the book. If they break out the checkbook or charge card, you get paid as well.   12C. Use a blog to deepen your existing customer relations. Marketing material inserted in blog content does not have to be limited to bringing in completely new business. By using a blog to regularly communicate with existing clients as well as other readers, you can take advantage of the opportunity to fully inform them about everything your business does, which may expand your readers' understanding of the full scope of your products or services. • 0 Relaxing Yoga Practice Tips while you travel

    4.80 of 5 votes

We love to travel for so many reasons, Exploring different cultures, taking a break from our inbox, and actually relaxing a little are just a few. One part we don’t particularly enjoy? Travel can be exhausting for the body and spirit and, at times, stressful. It’s important to maintain a sense of groundedness and balance so that we keep our spirits and energy elevated. Yoga is one of the simplest and easiest way to do this. It calms body, mind and spirit and can also give you a much-needed workout combined with a stretching and easing out of the tension. we can offer a way counteract all that sitting. The following yoga poses help relieve an achy back, open up hip flexors, and even provide a mini-workout while you’re on the go. They’ll bring blood flow back to your head, legs, and all those body parts that fell asleep. The best part: You don’t need any equipment, so you can perform these moves anywhere your travels take you—a hotel room, the corner of an airport terminal, or even at a highway rest stop. Just be sure to stash some hand sanitizer in your suitcase. 1. Roll out a mat and do your own You might have enough self-motivation to roll out your mat and practice your yoga sequences. I’m sure your travels will lead you to the most exquisite places to practice a few poses: shopping centre beaches, cliff tops, and ancient forests. Your inner yogi loves nothing more than postures in pretty 2. Find classes in the area you are in. I one day found touristguides.in which is an awesome search directory to find local tour guides and yoga camp for areas near you . Few Tips Which i already tried while traveling... 1. Utkatasana Bring your feet together or hip-width apart. Reach your tailbone toward the floor, back straight, as you sit into an imaginary chair. Reach your fingertips toward the ceiling. Gaze upwards, drawing your head back and you will actually feel the blood flowing thruogh your nerves which strengthens your arms, legs, shins and core. 2. Vrksasana Planting one foot firmly on the floor, bring the bottom of the other foot to the inside of the standing leg’s calf or upper thigh. Keep a wall within reach in case you need it for balance. Switch legs and repeat. This improves ankle stability and foot arch strength, stretches and strengthens the back and side of your leg. 3. Ardha Adho Makha Svanasana Place your fingertips on the wall at hip-height. Walk your feet back and bend from your hips until your legs and torso form a 90-degree angle with the floor, ankles directly underneath your hips.It relaxes your shoulders, hamstrings, chest and relieves the spines. 4. Uttanasana Place both feet firmly on the floor and place your fingertips or palms next to the outer edge of each foot. Pull your torso forward for a serious stretch. (If touching the floor makes you squeamish, simply grasp your calves to pull your torso forward.)It helps to  take stress off the spine by stimulating blood flow to the spine. 5. Standard Hip Opener Stand one to two feet away from a sink or chair. Bend one leg, reach the top of your foot behind you to rest on the surface. Draw your hips forward, holding onto the surface. Make sure hips stay level. Repeat on other leg.It helps in relaxing the lengthening tight hip flexors, quads and gets blood flow to the knee joints. 6.Urdhva Prasarita Eka Padasana From your glorious forward bend, lift one leg up the wall or the door to intensity the stretch. Keep the standing leg straight and your fingertips on the floor for balance. (Skip this pose if you’d rather not touch the floor.) Repeat on other leg. This will also open your hip flexors and helps in stretching your legs, and sending a bit more blood to the brain. 7. Ardha Chandrasana Place your right fingertips on the floor (again, skip it if you’re squeamish!). Your right toes should face forward. Lift your left leg, keeping your torso turned toward the wall. Reach your left arm toward the ceiling. Keep the standing right leg straight, without hyperflexing the knee. Repeat on other side. 8. Utthita Hasta Padangustasana Plant your left foot on the floor and straighten your left leg. Shift your weight onto it. Lift your right leg off the floor. Bend at the right knee. Reach down with your right hand to grasp the big toe of your right foot (or the outside of your right foot). While holding onto a wall, extend that right leg straight out in front of you. Modify this by drawing the right knee into the chest with your right inner elbow. Repeat on other leg.It stretches the hamstring and lower back and stimulates parts of your brain that control balance. 9. Virabhadrasana From extended side angle, shift your torso back to vertical, facing the wall. Reach your arms away from the torso, sinking your hips deeper. Draw your navel to your spine and gaze beyond the fingertips of your front hand.

  • 3 In summer every mom is looking for fun activities that promote learning and get her child away from TV'S, computers, video games and phones.

In summer every mom is looking for fun activities that promote learning and get her child away from TV'S, computers, video games and phones. Half way through the summer everyone struggles to think of new ideas for summer play time. Below are some of the ideas to cut the cord and decrease screen time. 1. GET OUT OF THE HOUSE Take your child to historical monuments, local parks, zoo or natural preserves. Talk to your child as you visit, explaining the significance of the location and other interesting facts. You can also visit science or history museums. Your child may enjoy playing around interactive exhibits and spending time with animals while learning new things. 2. EMBRACE THEIR INTERESTS If the kids have a passion for a particular activity, hobby or subject, make sure you give them the opportunities to explore these passions. This could mean taking them for walks in nature filled Ares, bringing them to the library or attending an arts and crafts session to create the best out of waste.   3. ENCOURAGE EVERYDAY READING AND WRITING Encourage them to write about their daily experiences or hobbies. They can create fictional stories or write about the things they have been learning through their visits to the science or history museums or fun trips. Also encourage them to read informative books along with entertaining story books as this will increase their knowledge about the world around them. 4. PLAY GAMES Get creative!! Play a version of charades, pictionary with 20 questions or board games. Maths is often incorporated in board games making them both fun and challenging. Choose a game that challenges their mental ability. Playing outdoor games is always beneficial for both kids and teenagers which help to develop their physical health as well as sportsman spirit in them. Get creative in asking them questions while playing. You can also play games that require your child to practice describing a word or a sentence. 5.OUTINGS WITH SUMMER LEARNING Summertime learning is focused on exploring new things. Hands on real life learning is the best, no matter how old you are ! Try to plan a few local outings. Get back to nature, break out the tents and go camping. Put on your hiking boots and hit the trail with family and friends. Whether you are hiking on a local trail, or exploring some new territory, it's sure to be an adventure. Fishing, swimming and gardening are also the best options but don't put your hands in the plants that you don't know and are rarely seen. 6.LEARNING WITHOUT REALIZING Activities such as sports, exercise classes, music and art are good ways for your child to learn how to work with others, build creative thinking skills and develop interests. These types of activities promote self expression and children can often discover new abilities. Take them to clubs, social gatherings, group meetings, etc, as children learn about social interactions and incorporate interest into day to day life by watching people around them.   7. CUT THE CORD AND COUCH Don't stay indoors and lay on the couch to play video games, watch TV and surf the internet too much. Go outside and get some exercise. Don't waste a lot of time in sleeping. Over sleeping can cause health risks making you as dreary as if you didn't get enough sleep. Join some exercise or yoga classes. Summer vacation is when most teens try using drugs or alcohol just for having fun. Have common sense and don't do any of these things. Parents also need to keep a watch on their teen's activities. Summer is a time to relax, have fun and develop creativity through unstructured activities as well as free play. Take this time with your loved ones to step outside and experience hands on learning opportunities.

    5.00 of 1 votes

Holi is a religious festival celebrated by Hindus all over the world. Holi is considered as second biggest festival on Hindu calendar after Diwali. Holi is also known as festival of Colors. Places related to life of Lord Krishna are known as Braj regions. Holi rituals in Braj regions - Mathura, Vrindavan, Gowardhan, Gokul, Nandagaon and Barsana - are the most famous one. The Lathmar Holi - the traditional Holi festivity in Barsana is world famous. In most regions Holi festival is celebrated for two days. The first day is known as Jalanewali Holi - the day when Holi bonfire is done. This day is also known as Chhoti Holi and Holika Dahan. Holika Dahan is referred to Kama Dahanam in South India. The second day is known as Rangwali Holi - the day when people play with colored powder and colored water. Rangwali Holi which is main Holi day is also known as Dhulandi or Dhulendi (धुलण्डी). The other less popular pronunciations of Dhulandi are Dhuleti, Dhulheti. On first day bonfires are lit after sunset at Right Holika Dahan Muhurta. Main Holi day when people play with colors is always next day of Holika Dahan or Holi bonfire. Next day in the morning people play Holi with dry and wet colors. People are more willing and comfortable to play Holi with dry colored powders which are known as Gulal. However many people feel that Holi celebrations are incomplete without wet colors. Wet color is applied on the face and is made on the spot by mixing little amount of water with dry colored powder. More enthusiastic Holi folk mix dry colored powder in full bucket of water to drench complete body in wet color.
